If its been a while since youve had a banana then its time to go out and get one. Eating bananas is one of the best things that you can do for your body. This awesome fruit is loaded with vitamins and minerals which will re-energize you in the short run and keep you healthy in the long run.

One banana has about 105 calories, give or take a couple, and around three of those calories are from fat. They also have 1 gram of protein, three grams of fiber and about fourteen grams of sugar. And how about this, no cholesterol or sodium.

Even though they taste great, you have to limit yourself as far as how many bananas you can eat in one day. The fat and sugar can catch up to you. One banana a day is good to start off with, from there you can see how things go. And keep in mind, your body burns fat as it processes the banana.

Banana nutrition also contain the best Vitamins, like C and B6, A, as well as riboflavin and folate are. Potassium, magnesium and manganese are also in every bite and all of this goes a long way in regulating blood pressure, and protecting against muscle cramping.

Bananas also help strengthen bones, prevent heart diseases, help reduce swelling and create white blood cells. All of that on top of burning fat, pretty good huh.

One of the best things about bananas is that they make you feel full and they give you a nice spurt of energy. Its a better type of energy, not like that processed junk out there, this is different. They also have fiber which helps with your digestion.

There are health experts that say that bananas are way better than any energy drink out there on the market. Next time your around one of those energy drinks take a look at whats inside, can you even pronounce some of the ingredients? Bananas give the body everything that the body needs to go the distance, without the caffeine. The energy boost you get from one banana is of a better quality, because its natural.

If you find it difficult to eat bananas or if your having a hard time digesting them, then not to worry. There are other ways of eating bananas.

One option would be to add it to your cereal, or have you ever heard of a banana sandwich? How about a smoothie, grab the blender and you can add whatever you like to it. Throw in some ice and some other fruits and there you go, theres no need to add any sugar because bananas are naturally sweet.

Bananas can also be served as sides, or added to fruit bowls, fruit salad and cereal. So start making friends with bananas in any way possible. They are one of the healthiest fruits in the entire produce aisle!
